Sean Cuffe - HSSE Professional

Sean is a a high performing senior HSE professional with over 15 years experience within large civil construction contractors and government safety regulators; championing the development of people and processes on major civil and construction projects to continually improve HSE and ensure delivery of safe, effective and timely outcomes.

Sean has an excellent track record of achieving low rates of injuries and near misses by establishing appropriate risk controls and processes at the start of a project with the aim of supporting safety management through to project completion.

Sean is solutions focussed with a solid background of improving safety and compliance by establishing VIPP (Visualisation In Participatory Programs) training frameworks; successfully engaging teams, achieving better buy-in and sharing knowledge to enhance safety and security solutions.

Sena is focused on leading teams by example and maximising performance by fostering a strong culture of safety; engaging safety champions and training individuals to achieve great safety outcomes without compromising quality of standards.

Sean also recognised by industry and government for safety excellence; having been top 3 in 2010 QMCA safety finals and winning a 2009 Queensland Master Builders Association award in the Innovation in Health & Safety category and the 2009 Federal Safety Commissioner’s National Award for Occupational Health and Safety Excellence.
